What it was

Tour Nation was an app concept that never fully launched but had real legs: a way to follow the tour, the trip, and the people around golf and travel rather than only the leaderboard.

It stayed in the idea pile long enough to teach a familiar lesson. Concepts are cheap. Distribution and a reason to open the app every week are not.

Timeline snapshot

  • Concept: Named, sketched, never shipped as a full product.

Why it existed

Golf, travel, and community keep showing up in this archive. Tour Nation was an attempt to put them in one product. It was a good sketch. It was not a company.

Where it is now

Never fully launched. Kept in the archive because the instinct — own a category name and test the product — still matches how I look at domains and apps.
