What it is

Maxing is a live attention board at maxing.lol. You Max Out to climb the rank, sit as The Max at the top, and hold the spot until someone overmaxes you. Same URL again? You only pay the difference. No refunds when you get bumped — that is the game.

It was inspired by the outbid.lol moment — the first of the wave, real buzz, and something like 350+ clones in a single week. I wanted our version: built our way, shipped with vibe coding, Stripe checkout, and a board that actually works.

Timeline snapshot

  • 2007: LinkBidding.com — same itch twenty years earlier. Did not work; design was rough and payments were painful.
  • Early 2026: outbid.lol blows up; hundreds of clones follow in a week.
  • 2026: Maxing ships at maxing.lol — full circle, better stack, same experiment.

Why I built it

This was less about building a business and more about proving the vibe-coding loop: idea to live product in days, not months. The mechanic is stupid simple on purpose. Pay more, hold the top, see what happens.

Where it is now
