Paying for X Premium+ was the decision. Building the decks is the work.
In Why I Finally Paid for X Premium+ I said X Pro was the real reason — multi-column monitoring like the old Hootsuite / TweetDeck days. This post is what I actually set up first.
Not a perfect system. A starting board I can clear every morning, learn from, and eventually hand the winners to Punk.
Two jobs, two kinds of decks
I split the board into two jobs on purpose.
Engage is relationship work — see conversations, notifications, messages, followers, and show up as a human.
Opportunity decks are sales-research work — phrase lanes and search columns I scan for people who might need help, then clear so tomorrow is not yesterday’s pile.
Mixing those jobs in one infinite feed is how you either spam people or miss deals. Same instinct as relationship-first business and separating the closer from the chaser: different work, different mode.
ENGAGE
This is the daily relationship deck. Columns that help me respond, not just scroll.
- My main feed — for engaging conversations worth joining
- Notifications — so I can reply to people who already interacted with me
- Messages — DMs do not get lost behind the algorithm
- Followers / people signals — who showed up, who is new, who is worth a follow-back or a thank-you reply
The point of Engage is not “find a stranger to sell.” It is stay present. Leave useful replies. Keep conversations warm. That is the part Premium+ reply visibility is supposed to support — but only if I am actually looking at the right columns.
KNUP
Knup gets its own opportunity deck. Each “type” of buying or starting intent gets a lane, then search columns around that phrase.
Examples of lanes I care about:
- Automation
- Entrepreneurship
- Start a podcast
- Start a website
- Related phrases around apps, systems, AI tools, and “I need help with…”
Every morning I clear it. I am not building a museum of old tweets. I am looking for sales opportunities and relationship openings in the lanes Knup actually serves: websites, systems, automation, entrepreneurship.
If a search produces noise for a week, it dies. If it produces useful conversations, it stays — and eventually becomes a candidate for Punk + n8n monitoring.
Metricool still owns the schedule
X Pro is where I watch and engage. Multi-brand posting still needs a publishing rhythm — that is a different tool and a different job.
IDEAL HOMESCHOOL
Same concept as Knup, different market.
Ideal Homeschool gets lanes and phrase clusters around homeschool families, people considering homeschool, Florida conversations, education support, and related “we need help with schooling” signals.
Clear it each morning. Look for real opportunities — not to hard-pitch in replies, but to notice who is asking for what Sarah’s lane actually helps with.
SPORTS MENTORSHIP
Sports Mentorship gets the same treatment: phrase lanes for student-athletes, sports parents, recruiting stress, confidence / mental game, college transition, and related parent questions.
Again: clear daily. Hunt for opportunities and conversations worth joining. Protect the relationship tone. The deck is a radar, not a spam cannon.
REALTOR
The real estate deck watches Orlando, Lake Nona, Central Florida moves, “looking for a Realtor,” relocation questions, and local entrepreneur / housing chatter that maps to how I actually help people.
Same morning ritual. Same rule. If the column never produces anything useful, it gets cut.
Why “clear each morning” matters
Opportunity decks rot if you treat them like unread email.
Clearing every morning forces a decision: engage, save for Punk later, or kill the search. That is how I learn which terms deserve automation. Manual before agentic — the same lesson from the Premium+ post and the Building Punk series.
I am not trying to live in X all day. I am trying to open a focused board, do a pass, and leave with either a reply, a lead note, or a cleaner search list.
What I am not doing yet
- Automating every column into Slack
- Letting Punk score posts I have not validated by hand
- Turning every opportunity reply into an immediate pitch
- Building twenty decks before five are useful
First decks. Real morning use. Then expand.
Built by Knup for conversation → CRM → next step
Monitoring is only valuable if something happens after the reply — follow-up, site, offer, handoff.
Final thoughts
My first X Pro setup is simple on purpose: one Engage deck for relationships, then Knup, Ideal Homeschool, Sports Mentorship, and Realtor opportunity decks with phrase lanes I clear every morning.
That is enough to learn what is signal and what is noise. Punk can have the winners later. For now, the columns have to match the businesses — or they are just expensive wallpaper.
Schedule cleaner, or wire the follow-through
