After the safari we walked Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail — the Africa walkthrough with monkeys, gorillas, snakes, and a bird sanctuary tucked into the path.

The bird sanctuary was a highlight: neat birds, waterfalls, a pocket that felt different from the open savanna. We did see gorillas — an adult and a younger one walking around — which is what you come for.

Outside those moments the trail felt light on animals. Nothing wrong with it; just quieter and a little boring in stretches compared to the safari that came right before.

Knup 7.5 / 10. Worth the stroll when you are already in Africa. Not a must-do if the day is tight — the safari carries more weight for us.
