Two lunches in two days at Contempo Café while working the Contemporary — that is the review. Day one was the roast beef sub. Day two was the spicy chicken sandwich to-go, and it edged the first plate.

Food: 8.1. October 15: spicy chicken sandwich and fries. Thick chicken, noticeable heat (not a bland QS chicken sandwich), pickles that played well with the spice, fries still good. Slightly better than the October 14 roast beef sub (shaved beef, cheese, peppers and onions on a crusty baguette — also solid). Fountain drinks / sauce station from day one still count as part of why this counter works. Convenient when you are camping a laptop elsewhere in the building.

Service: 8.0. Fast both days. Day one the cleanup crew was friendly and talkative. Day two was clean grab-and-go — order, bag, back to the table.

Atmosphere: 7.2. Grand Canyon Concourse by Chef Mickey’s. Lively in waves, fine for lunch. The real atmosphere win is adjacency: eat here, walk thirty seconds to a lobby or Outer Rim-area high-top, keep working. That loop is why Contempo stays on the remote-work map.

Knup 7.8 / 10. Bumped after the spicy chicken visit. Not fine dining — a reliable Contemporary quick-service lunch I would repeat, especially on a resort work day. Pair with Grand Floridian lobby or Outer Rim-before-open for the full office.

Second lunch at Contempo Café at Disney's Contemporary Resort in two days — and the spicy chicken sandwich might have edged yesterday's roast beef sub. Food: Spicy chicken sandwich and fries. Thick chicken, real heat (not bland), pickles that worked with the spice, fries solid again. Convenient to-go when you are working elsewhere in the resort. Two visits, two good plates. Service: Fast counter, easy grab-and-go. No issues either day. Atmosphere: Grand Canyon Concourse by Chef Mickey's — lively but fine for a quick lunch between work blocks. The win is location: eat, walk back to a lobby or Outer Rim-area table, keep working. Would order the spicy chicken again. Easy Contemporary remote-work lunch stop.
