Bryce and I played Fairways Golf Club on a Saturday afternoon — east Orlando, out toward the UCF / East Colonial pocket, inside the Fairways Country Club 55+ community. He had been before and sold it as cheap and easy. Beautiful weather. We went.

Official name is Fairways Golf Club (14205 East Colonial Drive). The surrounding community is Fairways Country Club, which explains the retirement feel on the property — older demographic, shorter tees, and a track that is built for regulars who live next door, not for a resort flex.

Condition: 5.8. Average. Fairways were not great. Nothing broken, nothing special. For the price you accept it; if you showed up expecting pristine turf you would leave annoyed.

Value: 9.0. About fifty-six dollars combined — almost thirty bucks apiece. That is insanely good for eighteen holes with a cart in Orlando. Value is the whole pitch here.

Difficulty: 6.5. Short off the tee. Water everywhere. We lost our fair share of balls even though the yardage is not long. Length says easy; the hazards say pay attention. That mix is the Fairways personality.

Pace: 8.0. Fine. We got through one foursome early, then had space to play our own pace the rest of the way. No death march, no stacked tee sheet drama.

My round: I carded a “good” number that was not the most honest score of my life — plenty of mulligans, and I was nursing a pulled muscle right under the rib that kept poking the drive. Bryce was about average for him. Full 18Birdies screenshot still to drop into the rounds log below. Orange logo ball is already in the collection.

Knup 6.0 / 10. Right around average as a golf experience, excellent as a cheap east Orlando Saturday. Play it when you want a low-stress, low-cost round with Bryce (or anyone) and you are fine with water, average turf, and a 55+ neighborhood backdrop. Eagle Creek stays the better “real golf” option in our Orlando rotation; Fairways is the wallet play.

    With Bryce · Shorter tees · Saturday afternoon · ~$28 each ($56 combined) · 18Birdies

Par 70 community course in Fairways Country Club (55+). Beautiful weather. Short layout with water everywhere — lost a fair share of balls. Condition average. Plenty of mulligans; Ryan nursing a pulled muscle under the rib that affected the drive. Bryce had played before and called it cheap and easy. 18Birdies card to add later.

Bryce and I played Fairways Golf Club on a Saturday afternoon near the UCF / East Colonial side of Orlando. Beautiful weather. The course sits in a 55+ community and has that retirement-club feel — shorter tees, lots of water, and a very fair price (about $56 for the two of us, almost $30 apiece). Condition was just average — fairways were not great — but for the money it is a solid “let’s go play” option. Water is everywhere, so we lost our fair share of balls even though the track is short. Pace was fine; we got through one foursome and then had the course to ourselves. Not the best course in town, but a cheap east Orlando round when you want something easy on the wallet.
