Today was a work day. We did a Disney work day, Sarah and I. We have been doing that on Tuesdays. We went to Animal Kingdom.

To be quite honest, we started off in kind of a bad mood. We have had some things stacked against us over the last couple days and we just were not feeling it. We were both kind of grumpy at each other. Everything is annoying you. Disney is not a place to go if everything is annoying you, because you will be annoyed by the people, the noises, the crowds, the weather - every single thing will annoy you. If you are not in the right mindset, do not go to Disney. So today was one of those days. I had to force myself through it.

We rushed and got there around 9:45. There was a 10 o'clock show we wanted, so we went to Festival of the Lion King. Got in right before it started, sat in the lion section, second or third row - really good seats. Knup 7 for the show. Fine time. Mics were a little low on a couple singers.

From there we did a couple laps around the park to get our steps in - probably about 10K. Then we needed to sit down and work, and we were hungry, so we went to Pizzafari. I had the chicken caprese baguette and a Caesar salad. Food was really good - Knup 8.5 for the restaurant. We tried to work indoors. Way too loud, way too chaotic. People coming in and out. We did not get much work done there.

Another lap, then outside Pizzafari at the outdoor picnic tables. I have worked there before and loved it - one of my favorite spots. This time was not quite as good. It was raining. They had an umbrella, which was nice. A little warm, a little louder, and background music was playing so we could not hear as well. Still good enough to set up and do our entrepreneurship middle school class. I am the teacher. Sarah co-taught a 15-20 minute segment with the boys. Three boys were on the call, all doing their own middle school businesses. So much fun and rewarding.

After that we thought about Kilimanjaro Safaris because it was only about 30 minutes, but decided it was a bad idea. We needed to get home and rest - baseball tonight. The safari is what we always want to do at Animal Kingdom, and we did not get to do it.

Overall trip: Knup 5.5 out of 10. Average day, and really it was because of me and my mindset. The list of chairs lives in best places to work remotely at Walt Disney World.
