I was already in the area this morning, so I walked into Disney's Hollywood Studios right at park open and turned it into a work morning. I was there from about 9:00 to 11:30, and it was one of those mornings that reminds me why I do this. There were hardly any crowds, it was nice and cool at around 75 to 80 degrees, and it was perfect weather for sitting outside with a laptop. Knup 7.5.

I went straight to my favorite work spot in the park, Backlot Express by Star Tours, with the AT-AT standing right behind me. I spent about two hours there. It isn't quiet. Foot traffic keeps moving past and the music never stops, but it has a vibe that works for me, and I got some sun while I knocked things out. It ended up being a really productive session. Once I wrapped that block, I took a lap through Toy Story Land. I'm drawn to the energy back there, everything oversized and colorful and moving, and it's a good reset after two hours on a screen. I grabbed a selfie at the Buzz Lightyear statue and another at Slinky Dog Dash with Jessie and Rex. Along the way I also stopped under the rusty silo tower for a picture and caught Hollywood Boulevard looking about as open as I've seen it.

Normally I'd move to a second work spot, but I skipped it this time. I needed somewhere quiet by 1 PM, and Hollywood just doesn't have many quiet spots, so I headed home to finish the day there.

Knup 7.5 / 10. A short, easy morning that did exactly what I needed. Cool weather, light crowds, and a productive couple of hours at Backlot Express. The thing Hollywood still lacks is a quiet place to take a call.
