After a rough lunch and a 100-plus heat index, we needed cold air and something that felt like us — not another stand-in-the-sun parade.

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor has been around forever, and it still works. Personalized jokes toward the audience, text-in lines, spotlights on guests, and that running “that guy” camera bit. I was not that guy this time. One of these pass days I will be.

It also hit the nostalgia button. When our kids were little we joked about Roz and the whole Monsters crew. Sitting there as empty-nester-adjacent adults on our anniversary made the show land differently — still silly, still funny, still worth the seat.

Knup 9.4 / 10. For a couple who would rather laugh in AC than melt for a parade, this is an easy repeat. Short, funny, and one of the smartest heat-day moves in Tomorrowland.
