Lake of the Ozarks — the lake house we keep coming back to.
My brother-in-law Joel has a house here. Summers, Big Bass Bash weeks, Sea-Doos, Monopoly nights, Ha Ha Tonka hikes, and a lot of sitting on the deck with nothing urgent. Not a tourist checklist city. A return destination.
Knup city score
From the weeks we actually live here — summers and the fall Bash week. Will get sharper as we publish more.
Atmosphere (9.3) and livability (9.2) are the story — quiet coves, a deck that faces the water, and a house we already know how to open and winterize. Options (8.6) cover fishing, boating, a state park hike, and enough lake life that we rarely need a restaurant review. Energy (7.8) is intentional: this is not nightlife Orlando. It is peace on purpose.
Knup 8.9 / 10. We will keep stacking summers and Bash weekends on this same URL.
