Disclosure up front: Avianca invited me as a creator / media guest to Orlando City’s home match against San Diego FC at Inter&Co Stadium — the match presented by Avianca. This is a brand-partnership experience review, not a ticket I bought at the window. That said, I still score it the way we score everything else on Knup: out of 10, honest, and whether I would show up again.
Same Saturday I wrote up Downtown Orlando — I came into the core early, found almost nothing open, and killed time until this invite. The night after that walk was a completely different Orlando.
Avianca is not a brand you hear about every day in Central Florida the way you do in Miami and on Latin America routes, but they are leaning into Orlando hard — and they are one of Orlando City’s main sponsors. The invite put me with about ten to fifteen other creators, journalists, media companies, bloggers, and lifestyle writers. Not a random fan giveaway. A real media / creator night.
Arrival

I got there around 5:30. Outside the stadium, Orlando City had fan fest energy going, and Avianca ran their own fan-experience tent. That is where I met Reyna, my brand rep — kind, clear, zero pressure. Hang out, shoot video, play the games, enjoy it; we will head in around 6:00–6:30. Perfect brief.
The tent activation was fun. Paper airplanes into a target for prizes, photo moments, the usual brand games done well. I filmed some of it and threw one myself — nailed the first attempt and somehow still got robbed on the score. Fine. Kingston and the MCO astronaut were working the plaza too. Sponsor night energy, not a empty parking-lot activation.

Networking was an unexpected plus. I met a gentleman who runs media across a bunch of Hispanic radio stations in the Orlando area, and a lifestyle journalist / magazine writer — swapped Instagram, made a real connection. Nights like this work better when the room is not only brand staff and free food.
Access: 9.4. Around 6:30 they escorted the group straight in, bracelets on, no scavenger hunt through general admission. We went up to the all-inclusive area Avianca was tied into as sponsor. From there the seats were connected — center-ish midfield, up top, still a great look. Inter&Co does not really have a bad angle for soccer. Escort in, hospitality, then your seats without friction. That is what access should feel like on a creator night.
Hospitality: 9.5. First-class. Food stations, all-you-can-eat, open bar energy — waters, iced tea, lemonade, and a full drink setup. I went loaded hot dog, loaded nachos, a sausage plate, desserts and cookies, Heineken 0.0s for myself while the bar handled everything else. They let us settle in for twenty or thirty minutes before we moved to seats. The space was busy — felt like premium suites and hospitality were feeding into one shared lounge — but it never tipped into chaos. Reyna checked in without hovering. Miami-based, easy to talk to, the kind of rep who makes a brand feel human. Avianca’s presence was everywhere inside too — lounge screens, a model jet, the starting-XI jersey wall with Griezmann’s 7 front and center.
Hospitality

Atmosphere: 9.0. I am not a huge soccer guy, and this was still entertaining. Orlando City brought real energy. The match was tight and physical — a lot of arguing with the officials, yellow cards, one-nil tension the whole way. Final: Orlando City 1, San Diego FC 0. Antoine Griezmann — their French star, the big goal threat — scored the winner in the first half. The ironic / perfect brand moment: when he scored, the LED board wrapping the pitch was all Avianca. Sponsor everywhere behind the game-winning goal. Easy social post. Felt like the partnership actually showed up in the broadcast frame, not just on a tent outside.
Soft personal boast, because if I am at a game I am usually on a ticket: I had Orlando City to win. They covered. Helps the night land even better.
The match

Value: 9.2. For a brand partnership, “value” is whether the night was worth your time and whether you leave wanting to work with them again. Fan fest with room to create, a gift bag that travels well — passport holder, luggage tag, wristband, tote, scarf — all-inclusive food and drink, midfield seats, a win, and a goal that literally happened in front of Avianca boards. Yes. I will promote Avianca on my socials and I hope we do more together. Established airline, growing Orlando footprint, serious Orlando City partner — and on this night they executed like it.

Knup 9.3 / 10. Hospitality and access carried it. Atmosphere was strong even for a non-soccer obsessive. Mild nit is the usual stadium-hospitality crowd density. If more brand nights feel like this, experiences are going to be a fun lane on Knup.
